so lately I've had to slow down work on my game so that I could put my effort into making the home for HC, HC:FS
which is due to launch on HC's dirthday! (the 14th of feb!)
I'm not a professional graphic designer, or webmaster, but I'm woring very hard to make something that looks nice =D
Sooo yes! It'll be the bad Kitty Games home page~ I don't ahve much to show rihgt now but here's the logo for the game company! (/=3=)/ (I feel like the kerning needs work... but this is nice for now~)
As for Fairy Side.... I'm slowly creeping allong making the CGsin a way that makes me happy, so next itme I update that should be in there. Hopefully I can also make some fun explorable stuff too!we'll see. I can't waitto go back to focusing on my game. Even just that first little bit needs a lot of refining!

I appreciate you trying to help us out, Kage, but I know of Bad Kitty Books and they don't own the name Bad Kitty Games, I do. Considering how different the two businesses and their audiences are, I don't think there will be a problem.
DeleteI'm going to go ahead apologize right for not noticing that you had created a blog MWL. I'm apologizing because I had an interest in this game when it was first mentioned on the HC blog. I haven't played HC:FS yet, but I most certainly shall and will let you know what I think in either an hour from posting this comment or more then 10 hours from posting this comment since its about to turn to 1 A.M. where I am.
ReplyDeleteOne other thing, you should probably put up a link leading back to the HC blog so that its easy to switch back and forth between them. Also, what forum is it that you put this game on because I don't think I've seen it on LOK, ULMF, Futanari Palace, or Hongfire at any point in the last two months. Mind you these are just the forums that I check every day. Almost twenty different games still in development that I'm watching. HC, Overwhored, Alone(XP), Emmerzail, Humbird0's stuff, Bonehead, lots of cool hentai games just to name a few.
DeleteI have played the game now and I like what I've seen so far. The only issue I think I have is that I can't freely warp from human realm to fae realm as I please, but I know that's just because you haven't added it yet. The comedy is enjoyable and well done. The vampire boss fight was irritating until I figured out why he just kept using drain on me, but don't worry it only took me the one try to beat him I just didn't figure out what needed to be done until I had used up all my lo potions. Also, when I choose replay scenes at the start menu the error Unable to find file: Graphics/Faces/ChemeiFaces pops up and closes the game. For the short bit of this game I experienced I would rate this at a 7/10 and I hope that rating goes up as the game gets updated. Keep up the excellent work.

RE blog/forum links: I'm not gonig to spoil too much, but this was always a temporary home for my blog so I havn't put much effort at all into interconnecting it.
RE warps: Durning that intro phase, you're not suposed to be able to get back to the Fairy's house on your own at this point. you will have acess to move freely betweenthe realms once the game opens up to the story at large (as opposed to the railroadish beginning)
RE error: Ill look into it. chemei's graphics arn't needed (so far) so I'll haveto figure out how to fix that.

I read all the blog posts you've made so far and I understand how hard you've been working. All I ask at this point is try not to burn yourself out. I figured as much regarding the realm warping. I'm guessing based on that blog reply that means once Bad Kitty Games is fully up and running you're moving everything there.

DeleteYup, Bad kitty will be opening up to the public on the anniversery of the game which is th 14th of feb! the blogs will be moving shortly after, but there will be plenty of exciting things on launch too!
